HLT liftable axle air suspensions are specifically designed for the rough duty that construction sites demand. For over four years, the HLT has operated as a high lift tag axle on crane trucks, concrete mixers and block trucks providing maximum ground clearance in on and off highway conditions.

Rated at 13,000 pounds capacity, the HLT liftale air suspension has 19” of total axle travel. The axle lift air spring is mounted by means of a small parallelogram. The parallelogram allows the HLT to achieve the extra travel without over stressing the crimped mounting plates of the air springs. The air spring mounting plates remain parallel through-out the entire suspension travel. Most high lift air suspensions fan the lift air spring when the axle is lifted causing stress at the front edges of the air spring crimped plates.

The HLT incorporates a standard “I” beam axle for durability and standard component parts.

• 1,250 lbs. with a rugged, selfsteering forged I-beam axle
• Excellent suspension frame-toground clearance — even when axle is lifted
• Adapts to a wide range of mounting heights
• Action of parallel non-fanning lift air spring end plates improves lift spring life
• Clamped pivot pins replace bolts at beam connections — eliminates high bolt torque requirements
• Fast-acting axle lift and loading with high-volume air controls
• Concrete, block and other straight truck applications, on- or offhighway
• Easy installation — suspension comes completely pre-assembled, ready to work
• Compact 38.7" from center of spindle to front of suspension
• Fully assembled to sturdy crosstube — no welding required at installation
• Lift springs are up high, by the vehicle frame — out of the way of mud and damaging obstacles
• Easy-to-reach parts for maintenance — suspension pivots require no lubrication
• 25-degree wheel cut for excellent maneuverability
• 5-year limited warranty
